Hi!  Thanks for checking out Stacie-Rae.com. My name is Stacie-Rae Weir and this is my work. I learnt how to draw by starting with horses. They embody passion and freedom for me, and, growing up, I wanted one so badly that I couldn't stand it. In fact, I could do a crude horse-shaped drawing before I could write my own name!! I worked really hard to bring horses into my life and the love for them taught me how to draw. I've been a professionally trained artist for more than 10 years now and am just getting back to my roots.  Equestrian roots, that is! I feel the last decade of drawing for a living has given me a good, solid technical background and I am really enjoying the challenge of portraiture.  People, Horses, Cars and Trucks... these are all really fun for me. I am doing mainly custom comissioned drawings in pencil and graphite directly from photos, so I'd love to hear from you and see what we can work out for you.  You can have artwork of the thing you love most!
